Common scale adjustment buttons are divided into three types:
1. Screw adjustment type
This type of adjusting rod and knob are integrally designed. By rotating the knob, the screw drives the adjusting knob in and out, and the screw cone presses the slider cone to make the slider and the mountain angle fixed on the slider move down.
Application: wide range of application, high precision adjustment.
Advantages: Integrated code accuracy and high accuracy, novice and master can meet.
Disadvantages: When adjusting the tissue cloth, the appearance neatness is affected by the different depth of each pressure needle.
2. Spring screw type
In this type, the built-in adjusting rod is rotated to enter and exit, and the sliding block and the mountain angle fixed on the sliding block are moved down by the tapered surface of the screw rod to press the tapered surface of the sliding block.
Application: a wide range of applications, medium and high requirements can be met
Advantages: Because it is not in and out of the whole, the appearance is neat, and the sound and feel are assisted when adjusting.
Disadvantages: The requirements for the adjustment machine master are relatively high, or a dial indicator is required. Because it is not an integrated design, the scale and the built-in adjustment rotate separately, and the scale dial is easy to shift, resulting in inaccurate characters.
3. Archimedes
This type drives the pin on the slider by rotating the adjusting button and the constant velocity spiral to make the slider and the mountain angle fixed on the slider move down.
Due to structural design reasons, the Archimedes-style adjustment button has a short stroke, so the movement of each scale slider is relatively large. It is difficult to adjust if you encounter a fine needle or high-demand cloth that needs to be accurate to 1-2 wires.
Application: Quick coarse adjustment, suitable for the production of yarn that is not sensitive to the cloth surface, such as: cotton yarn
Advantages: simple and fast suitable for novice machine master requirements are not high
Disadvantages: short stroke is difficult to accurately adjust, processing difficulty is easy to produce empty range. Reducing the total range of travel movement, such as the total travel to 100 bars, can make each scale accurate to 3.3 bars, but shortening the travel also reduces the scope of application of the machine.
To sum up, each kind of adjustment button has its own advantages and disadvantages. There are only differences in production accuracy, materials and quality for each brand. In principle, there is no absolute good or bad, but it should be based on its own production. Demand and personnel situation, choose the type that suits you.
